Ann Yeong is a married lay woman who aspires to be a contemplative in the world. She enjoys sharing her love for God through photography, writing, and deep spiritual conversations. Her great passion is in helping others to grow more intimate with Christ, and in seeing them discover their unique giftedness and personal vocations.
From 2009 – 2012 she worked at the Parish of St. Mary of the Angels in Singapore as Confirmation Programme Coordinator and Director for Youth & Young Adults. Subsequently, upon direction from the parish priest, she started the Office for New Evangelisation in the parish in 2012. In 2014, Ann left full-time parish employment to focus more fully on speaking about discipleship and the interior life, and meeting individuals and small groups for spiritual conversations.
Ann is married to Henry Hoo, a fellow pilgrim and companion on the interior journey. Together with Henry, Ann was trained at the Catherine of Siena Institute in Colorado Springs, USA as a teacher and interviewer in the Called & Gifted Catholic Charism Discernment Programme. In 2019, both Ann and Henry were also certified by The Myers-Briggs Company Pte. Ltd to administer the MBTI® Step I™ and Step II™ instruments. They enjoy using these tools to help others understand who they were created to be and how they can be more fully and fruitfully alive in this world.
