Friday 23 Sep: Borrowed Qiuyan’s car to buy groceries for MSSA Orientation. Hui Jun & I brilliantly locked the car keys in the car trunk. 100mins and 48bottles of mineral water (don’t ask) later, the mess was fixed. Discovery: Hui Jun would be a great person to have if I ever needed someone to bail water out of a car trunk *grin*
Saturday 24 Sep: Orientation went well. But my favourite activity was at the end of the day when we had an evening of music. Sun Can, Jamie, Kenneth, Hui Jun, Hui Mei and Hui Xuan all took turns creating magic at the piano and the rest of us had a great time listening and singing. Songs ranged from Baa Baa Black Sheep to Phantom of the Opera tunes to Malay songs to Hwa Chong songs… Reflection: No labour, no fruit…wish I could play like them.
Sunday 25 Sep: SERIOUSLY overate. Had a 10oz peppercorn steak on my own. At a wonderful restaurant…can’t remember the name of the place. Can’t think. Too much beef in my gut… Realization: 1. Never count on Qiuyan to share a steak. 2. Never finish a 10oz steak no matter how much I think I can…
