Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Thursday, November 23, 2006.
For the better part of the morning, the entire Horseshoe Falls was shrouded in thick mist reaching more than 30 storeys high. This photo was taken at around 11:30a.m. when it finally began to clear.
WOW!!!! u took this w ur camera??? What camera do u own?? it’s BEAUTIFUL
*grin* As usual, I’m more than happy to advertise for Canon. This is the second Canon camera I’ve owned and both were amazing.
This photo was taken with a Canon Powershot SD550. It’s a North American model and currently, I don’t think there’s an exact equivalent model in Singapore. It would be in the Canon IXUS series, if there were. It takes amazing pictures for an ultra-compact camera. It is, however, purely automatic (so no manual controls of aperture or shutter speed for people who want to use those functions).
Canon cameras are pricey, but I love ’em!
My Canon Ixus doesn’t take pics like that! hmm.. or mabbe in SG. .there’s no such image like that…haha
Yah, the subject, as well as the lighting makes a great difference! I was lucky with this photo cos the lighting and natural colour of the subject was already gorgeous.
