Snow in Toronto

“it’s supposed to snow tonight. it’ll be the first night of heavy snow i hope. it’s long due.”

That line in Wanting’s email immediately conjured up in my mind of how Murray St. looked like from my bedroom window during heavy snow.

I miss that exhilarating feeling of watching heavy clusters of snowflakes dance their way down from the heavens right in front of me and dusting the pavement with sugar-like icing.

I wonder, did it really snow? Will the snow stay on the ground or will it melt away in Toronto’s unpredictable temperatures or maybe be washed away by rain? How does St. Patrick St. look like after this season’s first snow? Will my friends be happy or grumpy when they trudge through snow to school and work this morning? :)

Ah snow… *wistful*
