Once again I feel the beauty of the wilderness beckon. I have already actually entered the wilderness some time before, but I have hovered near its edges. From time to time I have been able to come out and return to ‘civilisation’. But over time, the call of the wild has become more beguiling, insistent, compelling.
My Beloved has gone ahead of me even as his love is with me. He awaits me out there in the heart of the wilderness where everything sings of his glory. It is a longer journey that I am to make this time. I must leave all that is familiar behind in order to enter this domain. Trust is everything.
