It’s time…

It’s time to leave Singapore again. My 12th Singapore-Toronto journey since August 1998. It’s hard to say good-bye, particularly hard this time because a month ago I was made to realize how fragile our mortal lives actually are. We’re all on borrowed time and we never know when that allotted time is up. A heartfelt thank you to my dear friends who have reached out in concern for me and my family this summer. Thank you for your prayers and your understanding. []

Digestives & Milo

Today’s blog entry is once again dedicated to my dearest brother who I suspect developed a tension headache and mild migraine today cos he can’t bear the thought of me going back to Toronto so soon :P Ok, I’m kidding. Poor John really is home on MC for a day though, the first MC he’s taken since he started NS last December. A migraine is no joke, but I’m glad that I’ll be able to be with him for another day and []

Quadruply Settler-ed

Spent a lazy afternoon with Zibin, John & Cathy at Holland V today. Slamwich, Jungle Speed, Jenga and Settlers of Catan. Think we all had a jolly good time! I’m glad… very glad… that ‘we’ seem to be pretty compatible :P

Some things never change

Yep, Mary-Ann had always been making John blush since he was a kid when she used to pinch his cheeks. It’s another sight altogether though to see her make my strapping 6ft tall officer-cadet brother turn pink. Which he did… at Mary-Ann’s wedding! Mar… when are you ever going to take mercy on John?!

UofTBound'05

There’s so much to learn in so many []

Inconceivable

I don’t understand why people can be so hardened of heart that even when a thunderbolt comes out of the clear blue sky, they still cling to their stubborn pride. I don’t understand it. I don’t know if there’s love there or not. But I shall still cling in faith, hope and love to Him. Please Lord, keep us close as we walk this difficult stretch in our lives. And please, please if You will, help that wayward child of Yours.
