Baby Booties

Today’s entire morning was dedicated to clearing out my wardrobe. When I was finally done, Mom decided she also wanted to clear some very, VERY old clothes of mine. Out came a suitcase full of selected clothes, both mine and Johnny’s… from newborn shirts to kindergarten uniforms and even John’s Monkey God costume that my grandma made all those years ago for his performance! It’s amazing how carefully Mom kept all these little treasures. Most precious to me was the set of yellow woollen jacket, cape and little mittens that my mom knitted for me while awaiting my birth. I ended up taking pictures of all my baby artifacts. Can’t quite imagine I was ever that tiny. This morning’s activity makes me feel very much like mommy’s little girl again :P

  1. Dear Ann,

Guess what, you used to be even smaller than that :) When I first knew of my little boy, he was only 7mm in size. That’s how small you used to be too :)

The knitten mittens and little coat looks really adorable :) Remember the song Dumex used to have for its commercial ‘Kan jian ni jian jian cheng zhang, ni yong yuan shi ma ma de hao bao bao’. :)

  3. Firstly, I suspect it’s the Pecan Pie, but then it could be the Pocan Pie. And of course, Pacan Pie is always a possibility. I think the Pecan Pie has driven me nutz… I think…
