For some reason I’m not someone who is easily surprised. But I was surprised early this morning. I thought I had gone to the airport just to fetch Huixuan and her mom. Instead, I received a third arrival from Toronto: 2 slices of delectable pecan pie from Swiss Chalet! Huixuan had gone and bought it specially before her flight… what she doesn’t know is that I’m not the only one in my family crazy about pecan pie. They all are! Shall wait till John books out tonight to enjoy this rare treat with all of them. Thanks Xuan, from the bottom of my relatively aged heart. Touched. Truly I am!

Woah, I didnt know that your entire family was nuts of the pecan pie! *grins. You just kinda lamented that all your favourite food could be found in Singapore except the pecan pie. Well, glad that you liked it :) do enjoy it! *grins
