Power of Love?

I know Zibin’s influenced me in big and small ways since we became a couple. I started spouting singlish after 20 years (much to his dismay at first, thought he ‘corrupted’ me). Started eating raw onions. Learned to take more spicy food. Most amazing of all, I actually began to think Stephen Chow is an entertaining and witty guy. But I didn’t realize just how much I’ve influenced him till just now. We were working on our laptops side by side. I had my MP3s playing. And he started humming to Gene Kelly singing S’Wonderful… and then to Sarah Brightman’s Unexpected Song. Just as I was listening in amazement, he actually started singing along to Mario Frangoulis & Lara Fabian’s So in Love. All the while he was typing away at his laptop, oblivious to the fact that he’s actually enjoying what he used to think of as strictly ‘my type’ of music. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one diversifying my tastes, both literal and cultural, because of the power of luurve!!!
