Apples, Pumpkins, Ostriches…

Yesterday was an amazing day – a day with gorgeous weather, wonderful company, enjoyable activities and new experiences. I had no expectations about how the day would turn out, and perhaps because of that, I had one of the most fun-filled days in Toronto that I can remember.

Memorable Sights/Tastes: Purple Cauliflower, Rasberry Jalapeno Jelly, “Ghost” Pumpkin (all white pumpkin!), Indian Corn (multicoloured corn), Ostrich Hot-Dog, Honey-Crisp Apples (in photo)
Most Memorable Experience(s): Climbing the golden haystacks in green fields under a brilliant blue sky; Tasting the tart sweetness of Honey Crisp apples fresh from the tree; Lying in a field surrounded by pumpkins
