Whenever I’m back in Singapore, I drink unsweetened soy milk instead of cow’s milk because that’s what’s available in the kitchen. A few months back, I started buying unsweetened soy milk in Toronto as well although 2% milk is regularly available in our kitchen at OPL. I suppose I’d gotten used to the taste of it…and while I still drink/use cow’s milk on occassion, I find myself relying more and more on soy. Earlier this week, I did something new…I made milo with unsweetened soy milk (more like 1/2 cup hot water, 1/2 cup soy milk). And you know what? It was delicious! And I also made another discovery…Hasty Market sells good soy milk! This means the next time I’m out of soy and I’m too lazy to trek down to Chinatown, I don’t have to go without good soy. Yeah!
Incidentally, soy milk is a good replacement for coconut milk in curries too, but as far as I’m aware, you aren’t a curry sort of a person, are you?
And you drink your tea black, otherwise I’d have suggested replacing cow’s milk with soya bean milk in tea. It tastes good, and it’s an interesting change from the usual milk tea with cow milk.

Heh yes…I know how you use soy milk with tea. Actually I tried that too at home, along with a little honey, and it was pretty good!
