Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall posses the land.
Blessed are they who mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the clean of heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. – Matt 3: 7-10

I am filled with wonder and awe at the love of my Lord. How tenderly He lays His hand upon me as He draws me close to listen to His heart. He opens His arms and invites me to enter into His heart, and to partake therein in His suffering love for all humanity.

I taste the sweet nectar of victory! He has healed and strengthened me beyond my realization and I have withstood the test. Oh truly blessed, and truly loved am I!

Sometimes it seems wishes do come true! Even if it is as simple a wish as more snow… snow that fills my heart with childish delight!

Congratulations, dearest Johnny, on your new job at Singapore Airlines!

  1. Eh.. Thanks heh.. yah.. just read the blog… yah lah my sis summed it up quite accurately although that is still based on what I know for now. The details of the job I will let you know once I find out myself! :P

  2. Thank you, Ann, for the timely reminder on the Beatitudes, during this Lenten (Lantern :P) season. And may we all have deeper insights into the heart of God, as we seek to put into practice the Beatitudes every single day…
