Who are you, God, and who am I?
For so long I have not had an accurate view of who I am. I see what I wish to see; I see what isn’t there but which I want to be there; I see through other’s eyes (or what I think they see). I see more than I am and less than I am. I could never be confident or sure of any opinion about myself unless someone else affirmed it. I was a lost child.
It is time to make the hollow foundation solid. Time to know who I am – – not from anyone else’s account but mine.
Who do I say I am? This is a question of ultimate importance for me to answer.
