Yinwei & I went to visit Weizhen again yesterday, and we finally got to meet her daughter Rachel (whom her parents refer to affectionately as “Dou Dou” i.e. “little bean”). We 4 girls had a lovely afternoon together! :) The most memorable part of the visit for me was when I burped the baby as my two nursing friends were pumping milk… we laughed and talked to the background whirrr of the breast-pumps and the scene of a baby who eventually fell peacefully asleep on my tummy. :P

Rachel will be turning 1 month on March 5th. Happy 1 month in advance!
